Our Journey: From Concept to Innovation Leader
The inception of Bio Refinery Developments Ltd (BRD) in 2010 marked the beginning of our journey into environmental sustainability through the application of biotechnology and green chemistry. Over the initial five years, we honed our craft, developing an exclusive suite of biodegradable lubricants tailored for the Australian lubricants market. This portfolio showcased our commitment to innovation, and features biodegradable hydraulic oils, rock drill oils, chainsaw lubricants, and concrete mould release agents, all with excellent performance demonstrated through extensive field trials. In 2017, our quest for eco-friendly solutions led us to explore microbial based bioremediation with a leading Australian University Research Group. This has resulted in breakthrough products which are specially designed for the rapid bioremediation of hydrocarbon spills, effectively treating soil, water, and surface contaminations, setting new standards in environmental care.
